Brad Pitt’s zombie movie “World War Z” — which, up to this point, had been getting more attention for being a troubled production that required extensive reshoots — finally gets its first trailer.

Pitt plays a U.N. employee who tries to gain control over a worldwide zombie pandemic before it spirals out of control — or at least, more out of control than it already is.

“World War Z” — based on the novel by Max Brooks — is directed by Marc Forster (“Quantum of Solace,” “Stranger Than Fiction,” “Finding Neverland”), and it opens (finally) on June 21, 2013.
