Scott may be the only writer living in Hollywood who doesn’t have plans to write the great American screenplay, and that’s just fine with him—he doesn’t want to make movies; he just likes watching them.

In addition to his 8 1/2 year stint as the VP of Finance for Creation Entertainment, Scott also co-hosted “Sci-Fi Entertainment” for the Sci-Fi Channel in 1998 (and if you didn’t see it, consider yourself lucky—it sucked). Scott has been writing film reviews and show-biz commentary for various entertainment news websites since 1999, but he also works as a Film Segment Producer for the hottest news-magazine TV show in the country.

His favorite movies are “Close Encounters of the Third Kind,” “2001: A Space Odyssey,” “Back to the Future,” “Heat,” “The Insider,” “Three Kings,” “The Right Stuff,” “The King of Comedy,” “Jerry Maguire,” and “A Hard Day’s Night.” (Of course, that list changes on a weekly basis…)
